A full carpet replacement in Lock Haven — tearing the room down to its original plank subfloor, laying fresh cushion, and installing plush gray carpet wall to wall. The room ran wider than a single roll, so two pieces were seamed together; the finished seam is invisible.

How the job was done
- Tore out the old flooring down to the original wood plank subfloor and cleaned and prepped the surface.
- Set tackless strips around the perimeter and laid new carpet cushion, taping the pad seam down the center of the room.
- Rolled out the carpet and joined the two pieces with hot-melt seam tape and a seam iron, lining up the pile so the seam disappears.
- Stretched the carpet tight with a power stretcher and knee kicker, hooking it onto the tackless strips for a flat, wrinkle-free finish.
- Trimmed and tucked the edges along the walls and doorways for a clean, finished look.
